Content
The Jazz & Pop department regularly invites guest teachers to discuss a wide range of subjects.
Some examples of guest teacher classes hosted separately throughout the study year are master classes, workshops, lab classes, clinics, and especially the so-called 'instrument2days'.
Attendance is compulsory at guest teacher classes that concern the student's own instrument of specialization; otherwise it is optional. In case of locally organized events, the attendance requirement only applies to those studying at the same location; in all other cases, attendance is required of all students of the relevant main subject course, irrespective of their study location.
If the guest teacher's class is clashing with regular classes students can decide to give priority to the guest teacher's class. The student should contact the teacher of the regular class on beforehand, to sign out for that lesson.
