Admitted to second year of Bachelor Jazz & Pop or Composition for Film and Theatre. This subject can only be followed on-campus.

Content
This module partly builds on the Computer and Music modules. However, there is a greater emphasis on the computer technology of a course environment. Hard disk recording is an important aspect here and involves the entire process from sound recording to the final mix. We will work with Logic as a platform for hard disk recording and music production. Students can opt for Studio Technology as a follow-up to the Music Technology module provided that they are suitable and also feel an affinity with this subject. This comprises a work placement at a professional studio.

Examination and assessment

Assessment by the instructor at the end of the fall semester.
Criteria
Students should have mastered the elements described under Contents
Pass requirements
The student has completed this module if being awarded a minimum grade of 5.5 at the end of the second semester.
Examination procedure
Students are assessed at the end of the fall semester. The end-of-semester assessments comprise evaluations of students' performance during the lessons and the assignments.
