Developing advanced skills towards a better mix and production, for those who have deficiencies in sound engineering.
Relation to other modules
Composition for Film and Theater modules.
Students will be handling most aspects of mixing and recording techniques like:
setting up a mix from scratch;
the use of eq;
the use of compression;
the use of effects;
how to setup microphones.
Students will be working on all kinds of music, but at the last part of the module, the focus will be on their own compositions.

Assessment by the instructor at the end of the module.
Students should have mastered the elements described under Contents, are able to mix advanced pop and orchestra mixes.
The student has completed this module if he is awarded a minimum grade of 5.5 at the end of the module.

This program is for those who want to advance their skills in recording and mixing.
Case study orientated advanced training in class plus mixing homework.
Students bring their own productions into the lessons which are part of the lessons.
